Farsta Vase by Wilhelm Kåge for Gustavsberg Studio, 1952A tall Farsta high fired stoneware vase hand crafted by Wilhelm Kage from the limited production G Studio unit of Gustavsberg Pottery of which Kage was its art director. Kage produced his limited art ware line from 1930 to 1960 bearing the name Farsta, a name derived from Farsta Bay south of Stockholm from where the clay used for the stoneware was sourced. Like all Farsta, this piece was hand worked from its inception through the stages of modeling,
