Its leaves are long, lance shaped, green or grey green with greyish, felted undersides. Mildly fragrant flowers in various shades of purple, with orange yellow centres, are clustered in cone shaped panicles. Very attractive to butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. Buddleja davidii is easily grown. It prefers moist, well drained
